Part exchange simply means we buy your current car as part of the deal on the one you are buying from us. It saves you advertising, viewings and strangers at your door. Here is exactly how it works.
How we value your car
We start with the registration and mileage to see the model, spec and history, then adjust for condition: bodywork, tyres, interior, service history and MOT. Trade values move weekly, so a valuation is based on what the car is genuinely worth that week.
You will get a figure before you commit to anything. If you are happy, it comes straight off the price of the car you are buying.
What to bring
V5C registration document, both keys if you have them, the service book and any invoices, and your MOT history. Bring photo ID and proof of address too, so we can complete the paperwork in one visit.
Outstanding finance
If your car still has finance on it, that is not a problem. Ask your lender for a settlement figure, and we will settle it directly. If the car is worth more than the settlement, the difference goes towards your new car; if it is worth less, the shortfall is added to the balance.
You can get a part exchange figure online before you visit, and we will confirm it when we see the car.
